Dr Adam Hart is an academic orthopedic surgeon who is dedicated to excellence in hip and knee surgery. He performs a large volume of hip and knee replacements, leads the hip preservation unit at the McGill University Health Centre, and is among Canada’s highest volume surgeons in complex and revision arthroplasty. He helped develop the rapid recovery pathways for joint replacement at the Montreal General Hospital and performs over 50% of his primary joint replacements as day surgeries. Facile in partial and total knee replacements as well as the direct anterior, anterolateral, and posterior approaches to the hip, Dr Hart tailors his reconstruction to the needs and anatomy of each patient.
