Farmers Markets Make Me Happy
Farmers Markets Make Me Happy

I want to write about farmers market. I go to some farmers market before. I go to Seattle farmers market. I go to Roseville farmers market. I go to Queens farmers market. All are different. All are nice. All have many food and many people.

First, I talk about Seattle farmers market. Seattle is big city. But the farmers market feel not so big. It feel like small town. The name is Pike Place Market. Many people go there. I see fish. I see flowers. I see fruit. I see bread. People sell many thing. I see man throw fish. Many people clap. I eat one bread. It is warm. It taste good. I drink one coffee. It is hot. Many people talk and laugh. The air is fresh even in city. I like it.

Seattle farmers market also have flowers. Many color. Red. Yellow. Pink. It smell good. One woman buy big flowers. She smile. There is also cheese. Cheese is soft. I try small piece. The seller is kind. He say “welcome to Seattle!” I feel happy. I take picture of market. I see big sign “Public Market.” I think it is famous. Many people take picture too.

Next, I talk about Roseville farmers market. Roseville is smaller than Seattle. Roseville is quiet. But the market is full. I go there on Saturday morning. The sun is bright. Many table. Many tent. People sell fruits. Oranges. Apples. Peaches. I buy peach. It is sweet. There is one man play guitar. I hear music. Children run and laugh. People bring dog. I see many dog.

The vegetables in Roseville are fresh. Green. Big. Seller say it come from farm close by. There is also honey. Honey in jar. I buy one jar. Seller say it is natural. There is bread too. One man bake bread there. It smell so good. I buy one. I sit on bench and eat. It feel peaceful. Not too many people. But not too empty. Just good.

I talk to one woman. She sell tomatoes. I say “your tomatoes look nice.” She smile. She say “thank you.” She say she grow them at home. I like that. I like when people grow food and sell. It feel real.

Now I talk about Queens farmers market. Queens is in New York. Queens is busy. So many people. The farmers market is also busy. I go on Sunday. Many seller. Many customer. The market is big. I walk around. I see many kind of food. Some food I never see before. Like plantain. Like yucca. Like bok choy. I see many cultures. People speak Spanish. People speak Chinese. People speak English. Many language. Many smile.

In Queens market I buy empanada. It is hot. It is crispy. I like it. I buy banana too. The banana is cheap. There is also fish. Fresh fish. There is meat too. There is bread. There is also clothes. One man sell hats. One woman sell scarf. Many color.

In Queens I feel happy but also tired. So many people. So much noise. But it is fun. The smell of food. The sound of music. The people talking. I sit on step. I eat my empanada. I drink water. I watch people. It feel alive. I like that.

All three markets are good. Seattle market feel classic. Feel like history. Roseville market feel calm. Feel home. Queens market feel alive. Feel energy. I learn many thing in markets. I learn about people. I learn about food. I see people work hard. I see people smile.

Farmers market is not only about food. Farmers market is also about people. People meet. People talk. People laugh. People buy. People sell. I feel happy in farmers market. I see beauty. I see kindness. I like farmers market.

If you go to Seattle, you should go to Pike Place Market. You can see fish. You can eat bread. You can take picture. If you go to Roseville, you should go Saturday morning. You can buy peach.
